Schluter DITRA Uncoupling and Waterproofing Membrane 3′ 3″ x 16′ 5″ -3 mm (54 sqft)

Schluter-DITRA and DITRA-XL are specially designed for use with ceramic and natural stone tiles. It provides an uncoupling function that prevents cracking of tile and grout. Made of polyethylene, DITRA and DITRA-XL serve as a waterproofing layer to protect moisture-sensitive substrates such as plywood/OSB. The voids under the membrane allow excess moisture and vapor to escape from the substrate – otherwise the tile could be damaged. DITRA and DITRA-XL perform all of these functions, in addition to providing adequate support and load distribution for the tile covering.
